NEC and AVST Partner for Better Unified Communications

APR 14, 2010: On April 5th of this month NEC and Applied Voice & Speech Technologies (AVST) penned a long-term partnership with the goal of improving their Unified Communications product portfolio. Of great interest is the news that Active Voice, a division of NEC, will be transitioned over to AVST operations. NEC states they choose to do this because they needed "to expand and concentrate strategic UC application portfolio, along with the ongoing specific requirements of maintaining a technically and commercially competitive unified messaging solutions portfolio".

We here at ECI are excited about the partnership and will be paying close attention to the upcoming UC products released by NEC, just as we have for the last 15 years. For more information on this partnership please see the links below:
