Fixed Mobile Convergence :
Fixed mobile convergence (FMC) brings your business one step close to being able to use one device for all your communication needs. FMC will allow a user to start a call in the public cellular network and then walk into the company’s Wi-Fi equipped office. A FMC appliance manages the transition of the call seamlessly from the pay-per-minute billing model in the cellular network to a free-per-minute call running as a VOIP device on the company’s secure wireless LAN. Similarly, a call started on the company wireless LAN can transition to the public cellular network as the user leaves the building.
