New Outlook Add-on for the SV8100

NEC has introduced a new Outlook Add-on for the SV8100 system.  This new add-on enhances the user’s experience by sharing information between the SV8100, telephone and the user’s PC; making all devices more powerful.  Features include:

  • Enhanced Screen Pops – Know the details of an incoming caller before you lift the handset, improving response time and customer satisfaction
  • Dial from the Outlook directory – Take Speed Dialing to a whole new level.
  • Highlight and Dial – From any Windows application, like a document or webpage

New Collaboration Software now available for the SV8300 (NEC Meeting Center)

NEC Meeting Center (NMC) is now available on the SV8300 phone system. NMC is a comprehensive collaboration solution that enables the easy exchange of information between customers and colleagues. UC for Business 6.2 Released

Contact centre managers are constantly be asked to do more, with less, without negatively impacting customer satisfaction.  As such, NEC and ECI are proud to announce the release of version 6.2 for the popular UC for Business (UCB) software, which introduces a number of impressive features that are all about driving greater efficiencies without losing sight of those critical service metrics, including:

  • Microsoft SQL Server: In UCB 6.2, UCB database is transitioning to Microsoft SQL Server, a robust, reliable and secure application that is easy to manage. The transition to SQl Server: paves the way for future supportability improvements, future enhancements to redundancy, resiliency, and reporting, and benefits UCB customers by offering faster migration and more database management options.

  • E-mail in the Cloud: UCB e-mail queuing and unified messaging now supported in Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 environments, allowing organizations to continue to enjoy the productivity benefits of these UCB applications in a cloud environment
